As you wander its cobblestone streets, you’ll be surrounded by stone houses, blooming flowers. The village is full of art shops and quirky stores where you can find handmade items and unique souvenirs. It’s a place where you can slow down and simply enjoy the moment.

Famous painters like Marc Chagall, Henri Matisse, and Pablo Picasso walked these same streets. Many of them stayed or dined at the legendary Colombe d’Or, a hotel and restaurant where artists would trade
their paintings for a meal. Today, you can still see original paints hanging on the walls, making it feel like an open-air museum.

In the main square of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, you’ll see locals playing pétanque, just like they’ve done for years. The clink of the balls, the laughter, and the friendly banter create a relaxed, welcoming vibe. It’s the perfect spot to slow down and grab lunch at one of the charming cafés nearby. Sit back, enjoy a good meal, and take in the simple joys of village life.

Just outside the village, you’ll find the Fondation Maeght, a world-renowned modern art museum set in a stunning garden. It’s home to works by Joan Miró, Alexander Calder, and many more. Even if you’re not big on modern art, it’s worth a visit just to enjoy the setting.
