1. Subject
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the relations between Riviera Shore Excursions and any individual customer wishing to book an excursion, transfer or other service offered by the company via its website, by telephone or other means of communication.
2. Services offered
Riviera Shore Excursions offers tours and transfers on the French Riviera. Details, routes, rates and specific conditions of each service are available on the website and may vary depending on availability.
3. Orders and reservations
The reservation of a service can be made online via our website, by phone or by e-mail. A reservation is considered confirmed once the payment has been made and a confirmation email sent to the client.
- The customer must provide complete and accurate information when booking (name, date, time, pick-up location, etc.).
- Any special requests must be specified before the booking confirmation.
4. Rates
All prices shown on the website are in euros (€) and include VAT, if applicable.
- Rates may vary depending on season and specific services.
- Online payment is secure, and we accept payments by credit card, cash or Bitcoin.
5. Payment terms
Payment must be made in full at the time of booking, unless otherwise specified in the offer. In case of non-payment or rejection of the payment, the reservation will be cancelled without compensation.
6. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to transport services or leisure activities that must be provided on a specified date or for a specified period.
However, we accept changes or cancellations under the conditions specified below.
7. Modification and cancellation
By the client:
- Any modification or cancellation must be requested at least 48 hours before the start of the service.
- In case of cancellation:
- More than 48 hours before the service: full refund.
- Less than 48 hours: no refund.
- If the ship is unable to dock due to adverse weather conditions, you will not be held responsible and a full refund will be made.
By Riviera Shore Excursions:
In the event of cancellation for reasons beyond our control (weather conditions, technical problems, etc.), the customer will be informed as soon as possible and will have the right to:
- An extension of the benefit to another date, or a full refund.
8. Liability
Riviera Shore Excursions is committed to providing services with professionalism and care. However, the company cannot be held responsible in the event of:
- Delays caused by traffic conditions or unforeseen events.
- Damage, loss or theft of personal effects of clients during the service.
- Cancellations due to force majeure.
9. Respect of the equipment
Customers are obliged to respect the equipment made available to them, namely the vehicle and all its accessories.
Riviera Shore Excursion reserves the right to:
- To claim reimbursement for damage to the vehicle, such as opening a door or other accessory.
- To interrupt the provision of the ongoing transport of persons if the behaviour of the customer endangers the safety of the driver or that of the vehicle made available to him or if the customer is insulting towards the driver.
10. Legislation
The customer may not demand that the speed exceed the speed permitted by French legislation or ask the driver to commit traffic offences.
If the customer commits an offence, for example, the use of drugs, the driver will have the right to immediately terminate the rental contract: the current service will be terminated and the entire service will be charged.
Any complaints must be made within eight days; After this period, they will no longer be eligible.
In case of dispute, the Commercial Court of Nice is the only competent court.
11. Excursions & Transfers
Riviera Shore Excursions offers organized and tailor-made tours. Details of the routes are available on our website or upon request.
- All tours include the vehicle, driver and any options specified at the time of booking.
- Changes to routes or unscheduled stops may incur additional charges.
- The agreed departure and return times must be respected. Any overtime will be charged at extra cost.
- Drivers are not guides. Your driver will provide you with interesting facts and historical information about landmarks and places that you will see from the vehicle.
Transfers:
- A transfer is a race from point A to point B.
- Any transfer made between 22:00 and 06:00 will be subject to a 50% mark-up.
- The advertised rate is based on a pre-planned race and cannot be changed.
- Airport transfer : 1 hour waiting is included in the price for any reception on a commercial flight at the Nice Côte d’Azur airport. 30 minutes waiting time is included in the rate for any private flight or train station. Beyond that, Riviera Shore Excursions will charge per 60 minutes depending on the vehicle chosen.
- For any pick-up other than a station or airport, any customer delay of more than 20 minutes will be charged per 60 minutes depending on the chosen vehicle.
In the event that the customer wishes to retain the driver, we will charge for any overtime hours depending on the vehicle chosen.
12. Service on time
- This is a service during which the vehicle and driver are available with the customer. The minimum billing is four hours. Any additional hours will be charged. Any hour started is due in full.
- The advertised rate includes a 100-kilometre package. Any overrun will be charged according to the mileage excess and it varies depending on the vehicle chosen.
- The times chosen will be pick-up time and drop off time.
13. Baggage
Riviera Shore Excursions is not responsible for the loss or forgetting of objects or luggage in its vehicles.
Our vehicles can only accommodate a certain amount of suitcases. It is important that each client inquires about this in advance when booking. In no case will Riviera Shore Excursionor its drivers be held responsible if the vehicles cannot accommodate the customers’ luggage.
Please note that for safety reasons, luggage must be placed in the trunk and not on the seats.
14. No Show
In case of no-show, the transfer will be charged in full.
15. Claims
Any complaint must be submitted in writing to Riviera Shore Excursions within 7 days of the performance. We are committed to respond within 15 working days.
16. Protection of personal data
The data collected during the booking is used only in connection with the services offered. They will not be sold or shared with third parties without permission. The customer has a right of access, rectification and deletion in accordance with the law on data protection.
17. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These GTC are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution before referring the matter to the competent courts in Nice.
